Shea Butter Baby! is the perfect moisturizer for all year around but especially good for those cold, dry winter months when your skin craves more moisture! Great for the whole family, especially those with sensitive skin, dehydrated skin or problem skin such as eczema.

Shea Butter Baby! also provides moisture to dry or damaged hair from the roots to the very tips, repairing and protecting against weather damage, dryness and brittleness. It also absorbs quickly and completely into the scalp to rehydrate without clogging pores. It is particularly beneficial for processed and heat-treated hair.

It is best to keep the BodyWhip out of direct sunlight and under 65 degrees to retain its fluffy whipped texture. Higher temps will cause the butter to melt. If melting occurs cool until the oils have solidified.

We are dedicated to keeping our products 100% natural and free of harmful synthetic chemicals. As a result, our delicate natural products packaged in glass and plastic jars are sensitive to temperature changes.

During very warm/humid weather, products may soften/even melt and lose the fluffiness as they sit in warm mail trucks and mailboxes.

Unfortunately, melting is a natural reaction to heat and we have no control over the conditions during transit or delivery. We have the same problem as companies who make and ship fine chocolates during summer months. MELTING WILL OCCUR IN HOTTER, HUMID TEMPS, THUS THE JAR MAY APPEAR LESS FULL. Please refer to our blog post about heavy/light melting and hat to do to return the butter to its whipped state.

On sunny or warm days it is best to refrigerate BEFORE opening the jars. If you open items, check if melting has occurred, they may spill out and make a mess!

**The quality and healing properties of our products are not affected by melting.**

Whipped Butters: Place it in the refrigerator. The melting will not affect the quality of the whipped butter as a great moisturizer, but the whipped consistency will change. It will become more like a balm.

Whipping adds tiny air bubbles (just like whipping cream) that increase the size, lightens the density and changes the texture, making the butter light and fluffy. If a whipped product melts, the air bubbles are collapsed, so the volume is decreased. So although the jar was filled to the top, if the butter melts, there will be less volume in the container. The container may actually look half full.

Shelf life is 6-8 months.

Net Weight: 8oz.

Listing is for 1 jar of butter.
